Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) is an injectable treatment designed to temporarily enhance the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, known as glabellar lines. By gently relaxing the targeted muscles, Dysport® helps to minimize the appearance of these lines. This safe and effective procedure involves injecting Dysport® directly into the muscle, allowing the treatment to take effect. Derived from Clostridium Botulinum, Dysport® utilizes an active compound that originates from a specialized source. Within 3-5 days following the injection, patients can expect to experience a noticeable smoothing effect, revealing fantastic results that leave them looking and feeling their best.
Pre-Care
Before your Dysport® treatment please avoid alcohol and caffeine for 48 hours to prevent bleeding and bruising. You may take arnica tablets prior to treatment should you be prone to bruising.
Post-Care
Do not massage the treated area, and avoid exercise for 24 hours. Avoid the hot sun, saunas, or excessive heat for 72 hours. Avoid hats or tight headbeands for 24 hours post treatment. To limit swelling, avoid alcohol and salty foods.

In rare cases, Dysport® administration may result in anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction) which can be life-threatening and requires immediate medical attention. A licensed nurse administers all injections at Hello Laser under the supervision of our Medical Director, a Medical Doctor.
Full results are typically seen 7-10 days post treatment
Results can last up to 5 months post-treatment.
